The 10th PTNCE Conference in Katowice

Conference Announcement no 2

We invite you to participate in the 10th Conference of The Polish Society for Human and Evolution Studies (PTNCE). The Polish Society for Human and Evolution Studies is one of the biggest evolutionary associations in central and eastern Europe. PTNCE gathers and supports researchers interested in applying the evolutionary approach to study human behavior.

The annual, international PTNCE conferences gather scientists from all over the world who represent various disciplines such as anthropology, archeology, behavioral sciences, biology, linguistics, psychology, and primatology. The PTNCE conference is an open space for all researchers interested in implementing evolutionary frameworks in their studies.

This year, the Polish Society for Human and Evolution Studies Conference is organized in association with the Institute of Psychology at the University of Silesia in Katowice. The Conference takes place from the 17th to the 20th of September in Katowice, Poland. The keynote speakers who will be giving a plenary lecture during this event are Prof. Gregory Bryant (University of California), Prof. Jenny Tung (Max Planck Institute for Evolutionary Anthropology), and Prof. Virpi Lummaa (University of Turku).
